Alzheimer's Awareness Month

January 2023 was Alzheimer's Awareness Month we highlighted how British Columbians affected by dementia continue to live full and meaningful lives, helping those around them find joy, peace and happiness today.

Full of life living with dementia

The diagnosis of dementia would seem to only make our regrets from the past and worries for the future worse. But, while living with dementia is hard, we’ve learned from our community that it can also be the catalyst to celebrate the present like never before. Throughout January 2023, the Alzheimer Society of B.C. highlighted how British Columbians affected by dementia continue to live full and meaningful lives, helping those around them find joy, peace and happiness today.
